What is the Lititz Storytelling Festival?
The Lititz Storytelling Festival is an entertaining, interactive event that brings together local, regional, national and international oral storytellers who perform a wide variety of stories and conduct workshops. It is important to note that the storytellers do not read stories to the audience. They perform their stories from memory. An “open mic” Story Swap is also available. Learn more on the About Us page.
What ages are appropriate?
Storytelling is truly for everyone, but is most appropriate for ages 4th grade and up. The stories that our featured tellers will perform are family-friendly, but may contain some scenes that are scary for young children (old folk tales about witches, for example). The Saturday afternoon concert is specifically geared towards families with young children.
